Deborah Sherwood shares her extensive knowledge of America’s First Ladies with an enthusiastic presentation. Her enthralling stories will keep your audience entertained with a candid approach to a part of American history everyone will enjoy.
Deborah has been a featured guest on a number of television and radio programs. She has written about White House history for television and has had articles published in newspapers, including The Washington Post. Recently she helped cover the Presidential Inauguration on NBC television.
Deborah is a popular speaker who has appeared before diverse national and international organizations, as well as military, religious, government and private groups. She has spoken at The Smithsonian and resorts such as The Greenbriar and The Homestead.
Her presentations are always highlighted with two or three very nice door prizes for the audience. For instance, she recently gave away an autographed biography of Pat Nixon.

Deborah’s interest in The First Families began several years ago when she became a docent in the First Ladies Exhibit at The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
